The American Baptist Churches of the Akron, Ashtabula, and Cleveland associations maintain and promote the programming and facilities of Koinonia Camp & Conference Center for the purpose of sharing and teaching the love of Jesus Christ.  Through the use of the outdoor environment, and with dedicated leadership, we are committed to providing a safe friendly place for the spirtual, physical and mental development of youth and adults.

Koinonia Camp and Conference Center is a ministry dedicated to changing lives for Christ.  Those who visit the camp have opportunity to swim, fish, canoe, horseback ride, play paintball or take a leisurely hike on a wooded trail.  If those activities seem slow paced, a visitor can take a "Leap of Faith" or slide down our "Zip Line" as they experience our high ropes course. 

Our trained facilitators are always willing to lead groups to a better understanding of leadership, group dynamics, and personal assessment, while using the natural terrain and our many low initiatives.  Our regulation athletic field is a great place for soccer camps, football camps, marching band camps or to simply play Frisbee as a group or family. 

Whether a visitor comes as summer camper or with a school group, they always find a friendly smile, clean facilities and wonderful food to help make their stay a memorable one.  Our facility is open year round with the ability to house 125 to 250 people depending on the season.  Our main lodge is equipped with meeting rooms, a fireplace, and amenities and can sleep up to 60, for small group retreats or meetings.  Visit our accomodations page for more information.
